Singer Yuika Tries Stinky Tofu in Taiwan, Jokes She Won't Eat It Again

According to CNA, Japanese singer Yuika, famous for her hit song 'Suki Dakara.' with over 120 million views on YouTube, has finished her two-day concert series in Taiwan. In an interview, she shared that she enjoyed local delicacies such as stinky tofu, pineapple shrimp balls, and stir-fried dishes. Regarding the stinky tofu, she laughed and said, 'Many people in Japan told me it would be a life experience. I bought it yesterday, and it smelled strong as soon as I opened the box. I regretted it after eating it and won't eat it a second time.' She also discussed her bear-shaped light stick, which she designed herself. She revealed that it was inspired by a time she fainted from food poisoning while traveling; the bear plushie she received at the hospital became a source of comfort, leading her to call it her 'life-saving bear.' Since revealing her face last year, she feels she can perform and create with more authenticity. When asked about weight loss, she joked that she keeps eating too much and might just gain more weight while in Taiwan.
