NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang held a keynote at GTC Taipei, announcing the 'N1X' chip, which utilizes TSMC's 3nm process and was developed in collaboration with MediaTek. It will be used in the RTX Spark series of laptops, expanding NVIDIA's footprint in the PC market. Initial partners for RTX Spark include Acer, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Microsoft, with products expected this autumn. Huang stated that future PCs will integrate autonomous agents and large language models running on-device, which will revolutionize the user experience. He described the N1X as an 'amazing chip' capable of running 100% of NVIDIA's software stack, including digital biology, astrophysics, and all Windows applications, thanks to deep optimization with Microsoft.
