Jensen Huang Visits Korea, Says Taiwan and Korea Semiconductor Sectors Are Unique and Need No Comparison

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, during his visit to Taiwan, attended a gratitude dinner for Korean partners. In an interview, he praised Korea's semiconductor and AI ecosystem and revealed he would visit Korea this Friday for a short vacation and business trip. Regarding comparisons between Taiwan and Korea's semiconductor status, Huang stated there is no need to choose or compare, as both are unique. He noted that the primary purpose of his trip is to thank and congratulate Korean partners. He mentioned that NVIDIA's partners in Korea have had a successful year and must prepare for a busy second half and next year. Regarding HBM technology, he praised SK Hynix and highlighted their long-standing relationship. He also pointed out the importance of robotics for Korea's future, noting that NVIDIA is considering expanding investments in Korea. When asked about hosting a GTC event in Seoul, he responded, 'If Seoul wants to host GTC, I will definitely go.'
