Starlux Airlines Launches First Flight to Busan, South Korea; Fubon Angels Min-jung and Ho-jeong Cheer

Starlux Airlines launched its first route to South Korea, Busan, today, inviting Fubon Angels members Min-jung and Ho-jeong to appear as Busan route ambassadors to cheer and share their travel experiences. The two interacted with passengers and waved goodbye on the tarmac. The inaugural flight event was held at the B3 boarding gate of Terminal 1 at Taoyuan International Airport, decorated with themes of Busan's local scenery. As Busan route ambassadors, Min-jung and Ho-jeong attracted attention and joined maintenance and ground staff on the tarmac to wave off the flight. Taoyuan International Airport Corporation arranged a water salute to celebrate the inaugural flight. Starlux Airlines Chief Strategy Officer Liu Yun-fu stated in an interview that Busan is the airline's first destination in South Korea, strengthening its layout in the Northeast Asian market and providing convenient flight options for passengers from northern and central Taiwan. South Korea is a very important battlefield for Starlux, and new Korean routes will be planned after Busan. Liu pointed out that the Taipei-Busan route offers daily service, while the Taichung-Busan route meets the needs of central Taiwan passengers with three flights per week. Currently, the network spans Asia and North America, reaching 32 cities and 41 routes. The airline plans to launch its first European route to Prague in August and Bali in October, continuing to expand its global network. Min-jung recommended local pork rice soup and cold noodles, while Busan native Ho-jeong suggested not to miss the sea views of Haeundae and Gwangalli, as well as the skywalks and capsule trains, which are very popular among local youth.
