Ho Hsin-chun Launches 'Six-Star Municipal 168' Tour, First Meeting Held in Taiping

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Taichung mayoral candidate Ho Hsin-chun announced today that she will hold 168 'Six-Star Municipal 168' tour meetings over the next five months to share her municipal governance vision with citizens. The first meeting will be held tonight at the Guangxing Temple in Taiping. Ho held a press conference at her Nantun municipal office, where DPP Taichung City Council caucus convener Chou Yung-hung and other city council candidates showed their support. Ho noted that with Taichung's rapid population growth, there is increasing demand for transportation, childcare, education, living functions, and local development. Her 'Six-Star Municipal 168' platform, titled 'Taichung Innovation All the Way', includes building a global industrial core, promoting social welfare, startups, and regional development, and ensuring '8 Major Safety' pillars: public safety, traffic safety, school safety, food safety, workplace safety, housing safety, and cybersecurity. She emphasized AI, pledging to establish a Youth Affairs Bureau and an industrial transformation innovation center.
