Taiwan's Asian Youth Baseball Championship Team Announced, Led by Manager Tai Han-Chao

Central News Agency (Taipei, May 31) The championship game of the Hua Nan Financial Cup National Youth Baseball Tournament took place today, with New Taipei City defeating Taoyuan City in extra innings to win their first title in five years. They have earned the right to form the Taiwan representative team for the upcoming Asian Youth Baseball Championship in China. After the game, the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association announced the training roster for the Taiwan team, with Tai Han-Chao appointed as manager. The coaching staff includes Chang Tsung-chih and Wu Hao-wei. Seventeen players, including tournament MVP Li Yu-ju, were selected for the training camp, which is scheduled to begin on July 12. After nearly a month of training, 15 players will be selected for the final roster to compete in the 12th Asian Youth Baseball Championship, which will be held in Guali, China, from August 12 to 20.
