Zhubei City, Hsinchu County Adds 24 YouBike Rental Stations in June, Totaling 204 Stations Countywide

The Hsinchu County Government issued a press release today stating that starting in June, 24 public bicycle YouBike rental stations will be launched in Zhubei City, marking a new milestone of 204 stations countywide and making the county's low-carbon transport network more convenient. The county government stated that it is cooperating with the Zhubei City Office, with the Zhubei City Office providing funding and the county government handling the procurement contract and construction. It is expected that 49 new stations will be completed in Zhubei this year. In addition to the 24 stations launched this time, the remaining stations are currently being surveyed and planned. The county government stated that the new stations are included in the scope of the Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli commuter pass (TPASS) discount subsidy, and the public can enjoy the first 30 minutes free of charge for any vehicle type by swiping their commuter pass. The Transportation Department of the Hsinchu County Government stated that the 24 stations include those in the residential areas of East Zhubei, schools, and surrounding industrial parks, meeting the needs of students commuting to school and residents' daily commutes. In West Zhubei, they are combined with existing bus routes to exert the synergistic effect of composite green transport. The 24 stations are: 'Xixi St. and Lane 276 Intersection,' 'Baidi Vegetable Collection Center,' 'Xiazhuangkou,' 'Changyi Technology Industrial Park (Zhonghua Rd.),' 'Guangming 6th Rd. and Zhonghua Rd. Intersection,' 'Huanbei Rd. and Xinguang 1st St. Intersection,' 'Guangsi Square Parking Lot,' 'Guangba Park,' 'Gong-Er 23 Park,' 'Guangming 6th Rd. East Sec. 2 and Jiafeng 7th St. Intersection,' 'Guangming 6th Rd. East Sec. 2 and High-Speed Rail 7th Rd. Intersection,' 'Jiafeng 11th Rd. and Fuxing 1st St. Intersection,' 'Wenxing Rd.
