Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee wins bid to host 2029 TAFISA World Congress

The Association for International Sport for All (TAFISA) announced that the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee has won the bid to host the 2029 TAFISA World Congress and General Assembly. Representatives from international and national sports organizations, government officials, and experts will gather in Taipei to exchange experiences on the development of 'Sport for All.' TAFISA is one of the most representative international organizations promoting global physical activity. The decision was made during the 2026 TAFISA General Assembly in Prague on May 15. Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee President Tsai Chia-fu stated that the 2029 event marks TAFISA's return to Asia after 10 years and to Taipei after 20 years, serving as a key milestone for the 'TAFISA 2030 Vision.' Taipei is a modern and vibrant international city where sports are integrated into daily life. The committee is preparing to welcome representatives from over 170 countries.
