## Seminar Objectives
Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) have been developed as high-efficiency power generation systems for residential and commercial use. Recently, Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cells (SOEC), which operate in reverse to produce green hydrogen or synthetic fuels from renewable energy, have gained significant attention.
This seminar provides an overview of SOFC/SOEC development history and the latest trends, while explaining the principles of these technologies, the physicochemical and mechanical properties of the materials used, and their behavior in actual systems. In particular, it will detail the latest evaluation methods necessary for material development and improvement (DC polarization measurement, impedance measurement, equivalent circuit analysis, DRT analysis, harmonic analysis, mechanical property measurement, and cell stress evaluation).

## Knowledge to be Gained
* Development trends in SOFC/SOEC and principles of high-efficiency energy conversion.
* Basic knowledge of transport, electrochemical, and mechanical properties of electrolyte and electrode materials.
* Practical application of evaluation methods (DC polarization, impedance, DRT analysis, cell stress evaluation, etc.).

## Target Audience
* Those interested in SOFC/SOEC development trends and evaluation methods.
* Those wishing to learn the fundamentals of SOFC/SOEC.

## Fees (Including Tax)
* **General**: 55,000 JPY
* **Newsletter Members**: 49,500 JPY
* **Academic**: 26,400 JPY
*Includes materials and archive viewing access.
