CLOViZ Inc. (Headquarters: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Sotaro Masaki), which researches poker theory and develops learning applications, is pleased to announce that Toshiki Ohata, POKER Q'z AI Engineer (Executive Officer, CLOViZ Inc.), has been confirmed to speak at "POKER FORUM 2026" Powered by GTO Wizard, Japan's largest poker conference, to be held at the University of Tokyo Hongo Campus on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
On the day of the event, he will deliver a lecture on the theme, "Toward Realizing Poker AI that Mimics Human Thought Processes and Learning Support that Explains Judgment Reasons."

■ About the Lecture Theme
Modern poker strategy has entered an era where "optimal solutions" can be numerically obtained through the advent of GTO (Game Theory Optimal) solvers. However, a challenge remains: the solutions presented do not explain why those judgments were made in a way that is easily understandable and reproducible for humans.
In this lecture, CLOViZ will discuss its research and development on an "approach to poker AI that mimics human thought processes."
We will talk about the next generation of poker AI and learning support, focusing on two axes: not just the "conclusion" of a judgment, but explaining the reasoning itself, and utilizing XAI (Explainable AI) to support learners' understanding and decision-making.

■ About the Post-Forum Roundtable
Following POKER FORUM 2026, a roundtable discussion titled "The Future of Poker AI and Ideal Poker Learning Methods" is planned with Wataru (GTO Wizard AI Team). Developers and players will discuss from both perspectives how the latest AI technology can impact individual players' improvement processes and learning styles. Details regarding the date, time, and streaming method will be announced later on our official website and social media.
