When I first received this offer, I was uncertain if I was truly the right person for the role, but I decided to commit fully if I were to take it on.

Hana experiences continuous misfortune in every episode. In preparing for the role, I remember consciously trying to avoid becoming too close with others and making time to be alone.

I faced many challenges with scenes I had never attempted before, but I gave it my all. I would be delighted if many people watch it!

【Role of Juda: Kanaami Takasaki】

I played the role of Juda, Kanaami Takasaki. Juda is a female street musician, and her bright, strong, and courageous demeanor left a strong impression. As this was my first time portraying such a cool female character, I was initially worried that my high-pitched voice might get in the way. So during filming, I consciously lowered my voice and focused on expressing Juda's cheerful brightness. I also challenged myself with smoking scenes for the first time in my life. Since I had no idea how to act smoking, I worked hard by learning from the staff on set—please pay attention to those scenes too. And another first: I also performed my first on-screen kiss. Since lead actress Yuzuha-chan was also a first-timer, we were both very nervous, but we carefully worked on each angle and presentation to complete the shoot. 'Girlfriend' is full of heart-pounding tension from start to finish—please be sure to watch!

In this short drama, I portrayed this terrifying narrative with the unique pacing of the format, using the vertical screen to its fullest to depict the protagonist's gradual descent into darkness and distortion. Deep down, people watch horror not just for fear, but for healing. This work, too, leaves viewers with a strange sense of energy after watching.
