Seminar Content

As the trend of globalization accelerates in various businesses, Japanese companies are required to enhance their international competitiveness by improving the performance of not only their domestic headquarters but also their overseas bases.

On the other hand, various past surveys and studies have revealed that the satisfaction and adaptation of accompanying families to local life during overseas assignments affect the expatriate's work efficiency and results, which in turn raises concerns about potentially leading to early repatriation. However, in reality, Japanese companies have rarely officially provided consideration or support based on the spouse's perspective in their accompanying family policies.

In this seminar, Michie Iinuma, a former expatriate wife who also ran support businesses for expatriate wives, will focus on the evolving concerns and true feelings of accompanying families regarding overseas assignments. She will clearly explain the ideal form of corporate support required to maximize expatriate performance.
