Classroom Adventure Inc. (CEO: Zentaro Imai) was awarded the Grand Prix at "NIKKEI THE PITCH SOCIAL 2025," a social business contest hosted by Nikkei Inc.
NIKKEI THE PITCH SOCIAL is a pitch contest held for businesses and concepts that aim to solve social issues, with a focus on social business aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Finalists who pass the initial screening proceed to the final judging after refinement, where they are evaluated based on social impact, business viability, and innovativeness. This award recognizes Classroom Adventure's consistent educational approach: 'transforming social issues from mere knowledge into learning experiences where individuals personally engage, think, and make judgments.'
Classroom Adventure has developed experiential programs that leverage gamification, allowing participants to actively learn about increasingly important topics in modern society, such as information literacy and crime prevention education. A flagship program, 'Ray's Blog,' is an information literacy education program focused on misinformation and disinformation, and it is currently utilized by educational institutions in over 14 countries worldwide.
While social issues are important, they can often be perceived by learners as difficult or distant. Classroom Adventure has transformed such topics into game formats, enabling learners to naturally participate, immerse themselves, and learn through dialogue. We interpret this award as a recognition of our challenge to balance 'enjoyment' and 'social significance' from both business viability and social impact perspectives.
On the day of the final judging, Mr. Hiroshi Suzuki, Mr. Hidetoshi Fujino, and Ms. Atsuko Muraki served as judges, and Classroom Adventure received valuable feedback. Receiving comments from diverse perspectives—education, investment, and public service—has been a great encouragement for our future business endeavors.
