Announcement of 'Earth Saver Quest', a Learning Log App for Fun Encounters with Animals at Zoos and Aquariums

CLASS EARTH Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director Haruka Takagishi) and vildas Co., Ltd. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director Masashi Asanuma) announced today, coinciding with the 'International Day for Biological Diversity', the upcoming summer release of a new experiential application 'Earth Saver Quest'. This app allows users to learn about living creatures, including plants, while touring facilities.

This app is currently under development through a co-creation between our company, which operates the 'Earth Saver Project' where children take the initiative to protect the global environment and biodiversity, and vildas Co., Ltd., which accelerates the creation of new value using technology (in charge of system development such as AI scanning).

■ Creating Learning Starting from 'Fun' through Encounters with Living Creatures

'I didn't know living creatures were this amazing!' The moment your heart is moved upon encountering diverse lives at facilities like zoos, aquariums, and botanical gardens.

Hidden there are hints to feel the 'cycle of the world' that is essential for us to live. This app was born from the desire to connect the pure excitement felt by touching the living creatures in front of you to 'knowledge' with deep conviction, providing an opportunity to think positively about nature and the environment as a personal matter, beyond just making memories. Pursuing the joy of knowing, we deliver diverse learning as entertainment.

■ What is 'Earth Saver Quest'?

'Earth Saver Quest' is an application that allows you to record and accumulate fun experiences at zoos, aquariums, and botanical gardens as your own original 'learning log'. By scanning QR codes set up at each facility, you can add parks within the app and continue to record your activities at the locations you visit.

We plan to offer the following main experiences:

AI Scan with the Camera! Create Your Own 'Animal Encyclopedia'
When you take a photo of an animal encountered in the park with the app's camera, the AI identifies the animal and registers it in your personal 'Animal Encyclopedia'. The encyclopedia also displays Red List categories such as 'Endangered' and 'Vulnerable', allowing you to learn about the current situation of the animals.

Learn Happily with 'Animal Quizzes' and 'Missions'

Once you register an animal, you will be given a quiz about it. In addition, taking on missions set for each facility and clearing them will rank up your 'Earth Saver Rank', providing learning with a game-like feel.

'My Page (Learning Log)' Where Memories Accumulate

You can look back on your activity record at any time, such as the types of animals and photos collected so far, and the number of cleared missions. It is also possible to save collected favorite photos compiled into a single image, keeping them as an album of memories.

Having the right knowledge becomes the power to choose the future with your own hands.

As the theme for the 2026 International Day for Biological Diversity, 'Acting locally for global impact' suggests, small discoveries and actions right in front of you at zoos and aquariums will eventually lead to major global changes. We are preparing for a release this summer, aiming for an app that allows children, who will lead the next generation, to become 'Earth Savers' who think and act about the global environment through discoveries that start with 'fun'.

The savior of the earth (= Earth Saver) born from the anime 'Latair of the Earth'

In the Earth Saver project, children take the initiative to think about what they can do within biodiversity and act to protect living creatures and nature.

Through Nature Positive education, SDGs promotion events, and co-creation with schools and local governments, we deliver a message to the future to the world through 'learning and expression' such as songs, dances, and presentations.
