CLASS EARTH Inc. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo), in collaboration with Plantio Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), will launch a new food and agriculture education program that links the cloud-distributed agri-food infrastructure "grow" with the nature education "Earth Saver Project".
This project is designed to build momentum leading up to the "INTERNATIONAL HORTICULTURAL EXPO 2027 (GREEN×EXPO 2027)" to be held in Yokohama in 2027.
Part 1: Kick-off Workshop to be Held The first workshop will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Children will create their own planters using bamboo harvested from abandoned bamboo forests in the Kanto region. A workshop will be conducted to sow seeds of "Endangered Vegetables™," native vegetables that have supported the local ecosystem. This is a long-term process-based learning program aiming to sow the "next generation of seeds" collected from the planted vegetables at the opening of the International Horticultural Expo 2027.
1. Fostering 'Sensitivity to Life' through Technology Using Plantio's digital cultivation guide "grow". Based on data measured by soil sensors, the app navigates the plant's condition, such as "I'm thirsty" or "It's time for thinning." The experience of noticing small changes in plants through data nurtures children's compassion for life.
2. The Meaning of Growing 'Endangered Vegetables™' Instead of uniform commercial vegetables, we will grow "native species" that have coexisted with the local climate, insects, and birds. The grow app visualizes how one's own pot is connected to the local nature, implementing the concept of "commons," which traditional satoyama (village forests) once had, into modern urban life.
3. Cultivating 'Next-Generation Leaders' Who Will Change the Future This program goes beyond mere horticultural knowledge to cultivate leaders who can master technology and logically understand the impact of their actions on the global environment.
Part 2: Information for Media and Co-creation Partner Briefing After the workshop, we will hold a partnership briefing for companies and organizations that resonate with the philosophy of this project. We will present ways to achieve Nature Positive and co-create towards the International Horticultural Expo 2027. We will announce our future vision on how to fuse the latest technology and education to create impact towards 2027. On the day of the event, in addition to participating in the briefing, it is also possible to observe and photograph the workshop from 10:00 to 12:00.

What is Earth Saver? The Earth's saviors (=Earth Saver) born from the anime 'Chikyu no Laterre'. In the Earth Saver project, children think about what they can do within biodiversity and take the lead in activities to protect creatures and nature. Through Nature Positive education, SDGs promotion events, and co-creation with schools and local governments, they deliver a message to the future to the world through "learning and expression" such as songs, dances, and presentations.
About the cloud-distributed agri-food infrastructure “grow” To "bring people closer to agriculture," we multiply the power of AIoT/ICT with the power of entertainment, lowering the barriers to participation in agriculture, and creating touchpoints for interacting with agriculture in various places such as offices, commercial facilities, on top of condominiums, in a corner of a park, or indoors such as underground.
▼Three locations to create places and opportunities to interact with agriculture
The system that integrates these soft elements (content such as agriculture, food, vegetables, communication with people, events) and hard elements (places, planters) is the democratic, cloud-distributed agri-food infrastructure "grow" that anyone can participate in.

Overview: The root cause of all problems is that the capitalist economy has advanced to its extreme, resulting in the separation of "production" and "consumption," and "people have become distant from agriculture." We create places and opportunities to interact with agriculture and food, lower the barriers to participation in agriculture with digital technology × fun!, and are building a democratic agri-food social infrastructure, the "Agri-Food Infrastructure," in which anyone can act and participate. It is a social impact startup selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's startup support program "J-Startup," led by Takayoshi Serizawa, who was named one of Forbes JAPAN's "25 People to Brighten the Future of Food."
