Clark Memorial International High School (Headquarters: Fukagawa, Hokkaido; Principal: Yoichi Yoshida), Chiba Campus, a wide-area correspondence high school, held an inauguration ceremony on April 9th (Thursday) for its 'Boys' Basketball Major' starting in April 2026, under an educational partnership with Chiba Jets Funabashi Co., Ltd. (Based in Funabashi City, Chiba; CEO: Seiya Tamura; hereinafter referred to as 'Chiba Jets'). Seventeen students enrolled in this major gathered to take a new step forward, carrying the pride and determination of the first-ever graduating class.

This major aims to foster human skills such as initiative, collaboration, and a sense of discipline, going beyond just improving athletic performance. Through daily practice and school life, it aims to cultivate individuals who can think for themselves, improve together with peers, and contribute to society and the local community.

Furthermore, by placing themselves in a competitive environment where they interact with players holding high professional aspirations, students are expected to gain multi-faceted learning, such as the attitudes professional players value, relationships with the local community, and awareness of social responsibility. Through this major, we will take on the challenge of building a 'new educational model' that connects sports, education, and the region to nurture the leaders of the next generation.
