Certified NPO CLACK (hereinafter referred to as "CLACK") hereby announces that, as of April 1, 2026, there will be a change in Chairperson and a transition to a new management structure.

Left: Founder Daiki Hirai, Center: New Representative Director Yasuhiro Inoue, Right: Newly Appointed Director Kanako Takahashi

CLACK was founded in 2018 by founder Daiki Hirai with the vision of "a society where children can have hope and excitement, regardless of their upbringing." For the past seven years, based in Osaka and Tokyo, we have engaged with junior high and high school students facing various challenges such as single-parent households, school refusal, young carers, and those with overseas roots, through providing free digital education, career education, and creative hubs, accumulating engagement with over 1,500 individuals to date.

On the other hand, we have strongly recognized the structural issue that spans generations, where "not only children but also their parents' generation face difficulties." To break the cycle of poverty across generations, we transitioned to a two-organization structure with CLACK Inc. in September 2025. (※)

This change in management structure is the next step. Certified NPO CLACK will focus on supporting "learning" for junior high and high school students, while CLACK Inc. will support "working" centered on single mothers. By further deepening their respective expertise, we will accelerate the social change that CLACK aims for.

Furthermore, founder Hirai will establish the "Future of Work Research Institute" within NPO CLACK and assume the position of Director. An agreement has also been signed for CLACK Inc. to donate to NPO CLACK in conjunction with its business growth.

■About the Management Structure

As of April 1, 2026, with a view to further development and challenges for the organization, Director Yasuhiro Inoue will assume the position of Representative Director.

<From Founder Daiki Hirai>

From its launch until today, we have been able to expand our support for high school students thanks to the cooperation of many stakeholders. Thank you very much. Looking back, when I was a university student shortly after launching, we started from absolutely nothing: no money, no place, no computers, no materials, no teachers, and not even students.

Now, we are able to provide digital education opportunities to over 300 high school students facing difficulties each year, and AI training to over 3,000 high school teachers annually. Cases where students who received support go on to higher education, graduate, and actively contribute to companies using their digital skills are steadily increasing. Thank you again for everything.

And now, as Certified NPO CLACK moves from the initial 0 to 1 startup phase to the next stage, we have decided to hand over the representation to Director Inoue.

Although I will no longer be involved as Representative Director, I will continue to strive towards our goal of "a society where children can have hope and excitement, regardless of their upbringing." We ask for your continued support for Certified NPO CLACK.

Regarding the Donation Agreement

Daiki Hirai (individual) and Certified NPO CLACK have signed a donation agreement aimed at returning funds to the NPO in conjunction with the business growth of CLACK Inc. This formally pledges that if Hirai gains economic benefits through CLACK Inc.'s IPO, stock transfer, dividends, etc., a certain percentage will be donated to Certified NPO CLACK.

Furthermore, it serves as a framework to enhance transparency by codifying the financial relationship between individuals and corporations, and to mutually confirm that no undue economic benefits arise.

<From New Representative Director Yasuhiro Inoue>

I joined CLACK shortly after its founding and have been involved in building the business as a management member. At that time, compared to now, there were fewer members, and we were desperately trying to run a single program for a dozen or so participants. Through accumulating those days, we have recently been able to provide programs and spaces that lead to the self-reliance of hundreds of high school students, supported by many partner companies and monthly supporters.

On the other hand, in my more than 10 years of involvement in child support since my university days, I feel that supporting the self-reliance of children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the AI era is a greater challenge than ever before. Previously, paths for further education and careers, which were thought to be somewhat correct, are beginning to change significantly.

However, precisely because of such an opaque situation, I feel it is even more necessary to leverage the knowledge and know-how gained through CLACK's process of supporting each high school student individually, and to change the system by presenting and sharing new models with society.

While feeling the weight of the baton of representation I have received, I will continue to strive towards realizing "a society where children can have hope and excitement, regardless of their upbringing," just as before.

We ask for your continued support for Certified NPO CLACK.

New Director / Kanako Takahashi Profile

After joining Rakuten, Inc. as a new graduate, I worked in sales consulting for regional revitalization projects. I was involved in regional revitalization and inbound business at a venture company. After leaving, I obtained a Master of Arts in International Relations specializing in the human rights issues of foreign workers at a graduate school in Malaysia. Upon returning to Japan, I was involved in launching career education programs for university students and selling educational materials for junior and senior high school students at multiple venture companies. At an NPO in Ibaraki Prefecture, I was responsible for launching and operating a support program for high school students with foreign roots. From June 2024, I participated in CLACK on a contracted basis, managing the Tech Runway project commissioned by the local government. Since November 2024, I have served as the director of "Tech-Rie Saginomiya," and from September 2025, as the head of business.
