Aoi Zama, a resident of Yotsukaido City, secured second place in the girls' 5th grade kumite division at the 26th Chiba Prefectural Junior Karate Championship. As a result, she has qualified to participate in the 'KARATE WEEK 2026 ATRI Cup 26th All Japan Junior Karate Championship,' to be held from August 13 (Thu), Reiwa 8.

To report this achievement, she will visit the mayor of Yotsukaido City on Tuesday, June 23.
