Yokohama Green Expo: Applications Open for Yokohama City Exhibition Volunteers Starting Today (July 1)!

We are recruiting "Yokohama City Exhibition Volunteers" to co-create special experiences in the area where Yokohama City will exhibit at the Yokohama Green Expo, scheduled to be held from March 2027. This exhibition, with the concept "Opening Up Tomorrow's World, Together," is a place to provide opportunities to start a circular lifestyle and a challenge to convey a new vision of a green society from Yokohama to the world. Volunteer Activities to be Recruited

We are recruiting approximately 1,000 volunteers for three types of activities during the exhibition period (March 19, 2027 - September 26, 2027).

Individuals aged 15 or older as of April 2, 2027, who reside in, study in, or work in Yokohama City.

* Applicants for the Expo's overall volunteer positions (flower/greenery guide, plant management, operations) are also welcome to apply.

As the host city for the Yokohama Green Expo, Yokohama City will establish two bases within the expo venue: a "Communication Hub Utilizing Building Space" and an "Activity Hub Utilizing Fields" to provide experiences related to eco-friendly living and interaction with the environment. Volunteers will be active at these two bases.
