Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, Launches Recruitment for Former Municipal Employees (Return Hire) – Now Including Childcare Workers and Public Health Nurses

Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, is conducting a 'Recruitment of Former Municipal Employees (Return Hire)' for individuals who have previously served as municipal staff with substantial practical experience and can function as immediately effective personnel. The recruitment is open across a wide range of positions for employment starting April 1, 2027 (Reiwa 9).

Individuals who left the workforce due to marriage, childbirth, caregiving, or similar reasons will be hired as immediately effective staff. Initial salaries will be determined based on the employee's rank and pay grade at the time of resignation, with consideration given to post-resignation work history.

The examination consists of document screening and one interview only. Applications are accepted until Monday, July 13.

Recruitment Positions and Number of Hires – Childcare Workers and Public Health Nurses Newly Included

Administrative Staff: Approximately 5

Technical Staff (Civil, Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical): Approximately 1

Childcare Workers: Approximately 1 (newly established)

Public Health Nurses: Approximately 1 (newly established)

Main Application Requirements

- Born on or after April 2, 1965 (Showa 40), with a cumulative total of five or more years of full-time employment experience at Toyohashi City (excluding periods of leave, suspension, or suspension of duties). Applicants must have resigned from Toyohashi City within 10 years prior to the scheduled employment date (April 1, 2027).

- Childcare workers and public health nurses must possess the required qualifications. Please refer to the recruitment guidelines posted on the city's official website.
