**Various art exhibitions and workshops held at venues around Ikebukuro**
This event is an art festival that inherits the spirit of 'Ikebukuro Montparnasse,' where young artists once gathered to create while inspiring one another.
This year's theme is 'Hey! Creation, Emotion, Companionship - A Challenge to the Real Thing.' During the period, under the concept of 'the entire town is a museum,' various art exhibitions and workshops will be held. These include the main spring event, the 'Ikebukuro Art Gathering Open Call Exhibition (IAG),' which connects the town and artists to discover new talent; the 'Ikebukuro Kaiyuha Art Exhibition 2026,' an exhibition by past IAG award winners; and 'Phantom Thief Nyanpo - The Melting Museum of Illusion,' an experiential event that combines art appreciation and exploration.
**Comment from the Chairman of the Ikebukuro Montparnasse Migratory Museum Executive Committee**
On the occasion of the event, the Chairman stated, 'As we enter an era of coexistence with AI, we are planning this event with a conscious focus on what is real and what defines Ikebukuro. We hope that this project will create the 'joy of good encounters' and enrich the town while weaving together our passion for art and culture.'
