[Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture] Tomi City Regional Revitalization Co-operation Team to Support Toei Seisho High School's 'Comprehensive Inquiry Time'

Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture, will dispatch members of the Tomi City Regional Revitalization Co-operation Team and others to support third-year students' inquiry-based learning during the "Comprehensive Inquiry Time" conducted by Nagano Prefectural Toei Seisho High School.

This initiative aims to help students confront local issues, rediscover regional attractions, and deepen their thinking towards solving these issues. Members of the Tomi City Regional Revitalization Co-operation Team will accompany high school students in their learning, leveraging their experience and specialized perspectives.

Approximately 40 students across 2 classes in the 3rd grade

**Background**
At Toei Seisho High School, third-year students are engaged in "Comprehensive Inquiry Time" with the theme of "understanding people's wishes and exploring their realization." In these classes, members of the city's Regional Revitalization Co-operation Team will provide support to help students perceive regional issues as their own and connect them to future inquiry activities. The goal is to provide students with opportunities to gain diverse perspectives through dialogue with people actively working in the region. In addition to the Regional Revitalization Co-operation Team, private companies within the city are also scheduled to cooperate.

**About the Tomi City Regional Revitalization Co-operation Team**
The Tomi City Regional Revitalization Co-operation Team is active in various fields such as tourism promotion, culture and sports promotion, and agricultural product promotion. Through activities rooted in the community and unique perspectives of members who have moved from outside the city, they are working to promote Tomi City's charms and solve regional issues.
