[Tokushima City] Recruitment started for support subsidies for SMEs and startups for Reiwa 8 fiscal year!

Tokushima City has begun recruiting for various subsidies targeting small and medium-sized enterprises and startups from Tuesday, April 14, Reiwa 8, to promote regional economic development and support the challenges of businesses.

From new sales channel development through EC, exhibition participation, securing and developing human resources, opening stores in the city center, to taking the first step towards starting a business. Tokushima businesses are strongly supported by five subsidy schemes that can be utilized according to their business stage and challenges.

**Eligible Subsidy Schemes:**

* **EC (E-commerce) Entry Support Subsidy:** In an expanding EC market, this subsidy supports businesses starting online store operations to expand new sales channels, covering expenses related to opening and listing products.

* **SME Sales Channel Expansion Support Subsidy:** For small and medium-sized enterprises aiming to expand sales channels into large markets such as the Tokyo metropolitan area, Kansai region, and overseas, this subsidy covers exhibition fees and costs related to product development and improvement.

* **SME Human Resource Retention and Development Support Subsidy:** This subsidy covers costs related to participating in company information sessions, advertising for recruitment, and training to improve business challenges.

* **Tokushima City Central City Area Store Opening Support Subsidy:** Aiming to revitalize the central commercial district of Tokushima City, this subsidy covers part of the expenses required to open new stores in vacant premises in the central city area.

* **Tokushima City Startup Promotion Subsidy:** With the aim of stimulating new demand and job creation, and revitalizing the city's economy, this subsidy targets prospective entrepreneurs and businesses that have recently started, covering part of the expenses required for new ventures.
