Takatsuki City is Full of Fun Events During Golden Week

Takatsuki City will be filled with fun events during Golden Week, such as the "Koinobori Festa 1000," where approximately 1000 carp streamers, handmade by children and collected through donations, are hoisted above the Akutagawa River, and the "Takatsuki/Tonda Jazz Street," where musicians from about 800 bands from Japan and abroad gather, and all live performances can be watched for free.

## The 34th Koinobori Festa 1000
- Outline: Approximately 1000 carp streamers will swim in the sky above the Akutagawa River. On Wednesday, April 29th (public holiday), there will be stage shows including musical instrument performances and dances, as well as open-air stalls.
- Date and Time: Until Tuesday, May 5th (public holiday)

## Takatsuki/Tonda Jazz Street
- Outline: One of the largest handmade music events in Japan. Musicians from approximately 800 bands will perform live at 69 venues throughout the city.
- Date and Time: Sunday, May 3rd (public holiday), Monday, May 4th (public holiday)
- *Times vary depending on the venue.
- Location: Around Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station/JR Takatsuki Station, around Hankyu Tonda Station/JR Settsu-Tonda Station, etc., at 69 venues in the city.

## Midori no Carnival (Green Carnival)
- Outline: Many booths for children to enjoy, including mock stores selling confectionery and drinks, city bus riding experiences, and craft corners.
- Date and Time: Sunday, May 17th, from 10:30 to 15:00 *Cancelled in case of rain.

## Mishimae Rengetsu no Sato Public Opening
- Outline: "Rengetsu no Sato" in Mishimae 2-chome and 3-chome, where renge (Chinese milk vetch) flowers spread across the rice fields, is open to the public.

## Takatsuki City Boys and Girls Choir 37th Regular Concert
- Outline: The choir will present the results of their daily practice. Please enjoy the children's singing voices.
