Spring is Here: Cherry Blossoms in Takatsuki City are in Full Bloom

With the pleasant spring weather, cherry blossoms are in full bloom throughout Takatsuki City. We would like to introduce some recommended cherry blossom spots in the city, so please come and visit Takatsuki.

1. Settsukyo Park Known as one of the best cherry blossom spots in the Hokusetsu region, Settsukyo Park features about 3,000 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino. Every year, many visitors from inside and outside the city come to enjoy the blossoms. Shinkawa Cherry Embankment Address: Minamishodokoro-cho, Takatsuki City Access: Take the city bus from JR Takatsuki Station South or Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station bound for 'Hashiramoto Danchi', and get off at 'Niju' immediately. Or take the city bus bound for 'Hankyu Tonda Station' or 'Shako-mae', and get off at 'Josaibashi' immediately.

Akutagawa Green Space Located downstream of the 'Settsukyo' scenic spot in the middle reaches of the Akutagawa River, this is a natural green space left in the suburbs, sandwiched between residential areas and the river.
