## Eligible Expenses for Subsidy

- ① Travel and Accommodation Expenses: Costs related to travel and accommodation for organizers and staff necessary for holding the event.
- ② Equipment Rental and Transportation Expenses: Costs related to the rental and transportation of equipment and facilities necessary for holding the event.

- ③ Advertising and Promotion Expenses: Promotion costs for attracting visitors.
*Promotion targeting participants from outside Hokkaido must be conducted.
- ④ Event Insurance Premiums: Expenses for joining event insurance.
*Excluding consumption tax (including local consumption tax).

[Maximum Subsidy Amount (Budget)]
The subsidy limit will be the lower of the following two amounts (fractions less than 1,000 yen will be rounded down):
- Number of participants during the period:
- 10,000 to less than 20,000 participants: 20 million JPY
- 20,000 to less than 30,000 participants: 30 million JPY
- 30,000 or more participants: 50 million JPY
- 10% of the "Total Economic Ripple Effect in Sapporo City" calculated using the Japan Tourism Agency's "Simplified Measurement Model for Economic Ripple Effects from MICE Events."

If the difference between income (excluding subsidies) and expenses (including non-subsidizable expenses) is less than 50 million JPY, the subsidy amount will be determined based on this difference as the upper limit. Even if multiple businesses jointly implement a project, the maximum subsidy for one project remains 50 million JPY.

Furthermore, if, at the time of application and performance reporting, income (excluding subsidies) is equal to or greater than expenses (including non-subsidizable expenses) (i.e., balanced budget or surplus), no subsidy will be granted.

## Implementation Period for Subsidized Projects
From the grant decision date to March 15 (Mon), Reiwa 9 (2027).

*A performance report (including receipts, etc.) is required by the earlier of 30 days after the project completion date or March 23 (Tue), Reiwa 9 (2027).
