Sagamihara City and Zama City, adjacent in the central region of Kanagawa Prefecture, have a close relationship, including signing an inter-municipal cooperation agreement in 2025. These two cities have now achieved an innovative collaboration through their public relations magazines.

The catalyst for this collaboration is the "Double World Title Match: Naoya Inoue vs. Junto Nakatani," to be held at Tokyo Dome on Saturday, May 2, 2026, which has become a hot topic not only among boxing fans but all sports enthusiasts. The miraculous coincidence that Junto Nakatani, a Sagamihara City resident and one of the city's hometown athletes, will face Naoya Inoue, who hails from the neighboring Zama City, led the PR departments of both cities to join forces, resulting in a rare public relations magazine collaboration nationwide.

This initiative embodies the desire for the citizens of both cities to unite and support their local heroes.

* Odakyu-Sagamihara Station and Sobudai-mae Station on the Odakyu Line, which are adjacent to the city borders of both cities, have permanent racks for the public relations magazines of both cities. From April 1st to April 14th, while supplies last, these racks will be specially decorated to actively appeal to the citizens of both cities.
