Ahead of the October 1, Reiwa 8 amendment to labor-related laws, Okayama City will host a free seminar on customer harassment prevention for business managers and HR personnel on July 22.

On October 1, Reiwa 8 (2026), the amended "Law on Comprehensive Promotion of Labor Policies, Employment Stability, and Enrichment of Occupational Lives for Workers" will come into effect.

With the enforcement of the revised law approaching, a seminar will be held to help businesses understand key points of customer harassment ("cusu-hara") prevention measures.
