From Traditional Memorial Services and Lantern Processions to Modern Fireworks Displays: A Summer Night Where History and Light Intersect
The "Takeda no Sato Nirasaki Fireworks Festival" is a festival that inherits the traditions of Nirasaki City, the birthplace of the Kai Takeda clan. Prior to the fireworks display, a solemn "Sacred Fire Ceremony," a "Lantern Procession" with a fantastical procession of lights, and the "Takeda Fallen Warriors Memorial Service" will be held at the venue. From 3:30 PM, numerous food stalls will line the area, enveloping the entire venue in a festive atmosphere.
The main event, the fireworks festival, will feature large Starmine fireworks that spread across the night sky. Furthermore, we will deliver a moving experience that resonates with all five senses, including meticulously programmed synchronized performances of music and light.

Column | More Than Just a Fireworks Festival!? A Story Full of Historical Romance
The biggest highlight of the "Nirasaki Fireworks Festival" actually begins *before* the fireworks start!
1. "Sacred Fire" Connected to the Takeda Family Illuminates the Night Road!
The festival opens with "sacred fire" from a shrine or temple associated with the Takeda family.
This sacred fire is carried in a fantastical lantern procession towards the venue, where a giant torch is lit.
2. A Solemn Prayer Dedicated to the Esteemed Takeda Family
This Nirasaki is, in fact, the "birthplace of the Kai Takeda family."
Just before the fireworks, a "memorial service" is held to comfort the first lord, Takeda Nobuyoshi, and all the warriors who served the Takeda family.
This solemn ritual, conducted by the chief priest of Ganjoji Temple, the Takeda family's ancestral temple, emanates an overwhelming historical aura unique to the "Takeda no Sato."
3. Scorching the Night Sky! A Moving Grand Finale of Approximately 6,000 Fireworks
Once the quiet prayer time concludes, the long-awaited fireworks festival begins!
Approximately 6,000 shots of light art, including large-scale Shakudama (1-shaku diameter shells) and breathtaking Starmine, will explode in the night sky over the Kanonogawa River, vividly coloring the summer night.
Especially the special performance in the latter half, where "music x colorful fireworks" are synchronized, is breathtakingly beautiful!
The overwhelming finale that resonates with all five senses is truly spectacular.
A special night in "Takeda no Sato Nirasaki," packed with history and romance.
Why not experience this spectacular fusion of light and sound that transcends time this summer?
