[Tokushima Prefecture Naruto City Hall] Inner Promotion Promotion Project "0 → 1 SCHOOL ~Music, Begins.~"

The depopulation due to the net outflow of young people is a major challenge for our city.

A survey conducted last year among all students at Naruto High School and Naruto Uzushio High School revealed that approximately half of the respondents would not recommend living in Naruto City to those living outside the city, indicating that many high school students are unaware of Naruto City's appeal.

We believe that fostering a sense of local pride and civic pride in their hometowns significantly influences the retention of young people and the promotion of return migration. Therefore, with the aim of nurturing local pride and civic pride among young people, we have created a workshop called "0→1 SCHOOL." This program provides a space for children living and studying in the city to challenge themselves in collaboration with local adults. Through this, we aim to help them rediscover the charms of Naruto City and to brand the city as a "place of beginnings" that supports the challenges of young people.

For Reiwa 8 (2026), based on the needs of junior high and high school students, the workshops will be held with two themes: band performance and songwriting.

■ Band Workshop

1-Day Special Instructor Akiko Fukuoka to Appear at the 4th Practice Session (August 18th, Tuesday)!

We are pleased to welcome Akiko Fukuoka, former bassist of Chatmonchy, who is from Tokushima City and a graduate of Naruto University of Education, as a special instructor. She will provide technical guidance on band performance and share insights into the spirit of band activities.

■ Songwriting Workshop

1-Day Special Instructor Sho Yamamoto to Appear at the 2nd Class (August 4th, Tuesday)!

We are pleased to welcome Sho Yamamoto, who wrote, composed, and arranged the viral hit song "Watashi no Ichiban Kawaii Tokoro" for the idol group "FRUITS ZIPPER," which has garnered over 3 billion views primarily on TikTok. He will provide technical guidance on songwriting and share insights into the spirit of songwriting activities.
