[Naruto City Hall, Tokushima Prefecture] Inner Promotion Project '0 -> 1 SCHOOL ~Music Begins.~'

In our city, population decline due to the net out-migration of youth has become a major issue.
Last year, a survey conducted among all students attending Naruto High School and Naruto Uzushio High School revealed that about half of the respondents 'would not want to recommend living in Naruto City to people living outside the city,' highlighting that many high school students do not recognize the charm of Naruto City.
We believe that love for the hometown where one was born and raised has a considerable impact on curbing youth out-migration and promoting U-turns. Therefore, with the aim of fostering youth's local love and civic pride, we have prepared a workshop space called '0->1 SCHOOL' as a place for children living and studying in the city to challenge something while interacting with local adults. Through this, we hope they rediscover the charm of Naruto City, and we aim for regional branding as 'The Town of Beginnings' that supports the challenges of youth.
For fiscal year 2026, based on the needs of junior high and high school students, we will hold the workshop with two themes: Band and Composition.

■ Band Workshop
1-day Special Instructor: Akiko Fukuoka taking the stage for the 4th practice session (Tuesday, August 18)!
We will welcome Ms. Akiko Fukuoka, a native of Tokushima City, a graduate of Naruto University of Education, and former bassist of Chatmonchy, as a special instructor to provide technical guidance for bands and talk about the mindset for band activities.
