◆ Fire Brigade Activities
What is a Fire Brigade? Fire brigades are volunteer firefighting organizations where people who normally have various jobs become fire brigade members during fires, floods, and earthquakes to perform firefighting activities. Members engage in activities while continuing their regular jobs, studies, or housework.
Activities during disasters: Firefighting activities when fires occur, rescue and first aid activities during large-scale disasters, and flood control work and evacuation guidance for residents during heavy rain from typhoons, etc.
Daily activities: Training assuming disaster sites, first aid and fire prevention guidance for local residents, and security during local festivals and events.
