A Moment of Music in the City Hall Lobby: Lobby Concert Held

On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, Maizuru City held the 'Maizuru City Hall Lobby Concert with a View of the Sea' in the Citizen's Hall on the first floor of the city hall.

For this event, we featured 'amapola,' a rare duo unit in Japan consisting of a Paraguayan harp and an alto saxophone.

During the event, the duo performed a diverse range of songs, including 'Amazing Grace,' the Latin classic 'Coffee Rumba,' and Hibari Misora's 'Ai Sansan.' The delicate and soft tones of the Paraguayan harp blended with the deep resonance of the alto saxophone, filling the Citizen's Hall with pleasant music.

Held during the lunch hour, the concert drew many visitors and citizens who stopped to listen, creating a calm and warm atmosphere.
