Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture: Winning Works to be Exhibited at "Tokyo Camera Club Photo Exhibition 2026"! Instagram Photo Contest Underway! [Koriyama City Hall, Fukushima Prefecture]

Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, is holding the "Tsunagaru SAKURA Photo Contest 2026" using Instagram to promote the charm of the "Koriyama Wide Area Partnership Central City Region" (commonly known as "Koriyama Wide Area"), formed by 17 neighboring municipalities, nationwide, together with residents and visitors to the region.

Koriyama City is utilizing Instagram and collaborating with Tokyo Camera Club to host the "Tsunagaru SAKURA Photo Contest 2026," themed around "cherry blossoms in the Koriyama wide area," to promote the charm of cherry blossoms in the "Koriyama Wide Area" both within and outside the region.

In addition, two photographers deeply involved with Koriyama City will be invited as special judges for this photo contest, and they will help enliven the event together with participants, in conjunction with the "Tokyo Camera Club Photo Exhibition 2026" to be held in September this year.

・How to Enter

Entry is a simple 2-step process!

　【Step 1】

　Follow the following two Instagram accounts:

　(1) Koriyama City Official Instagram Account

　(2) "Tokyo Camera Club (*)" Campaign Instagram Account

　*The operator entrusted by Koriyama City with the management of this photo contest.

　【Step 2】

　Post your photos with the following hashtags:

　(1) "#mykoriyama_widearea"

　(2) "#shooting_municipality_name"

   (3) "#koriyama_sakura (optional)"

   (4) "#shooting_spot_name (optional)"

・Participation Benefits

(1) One winning entry will be selected from each of the 17 municipalities in the Koriyama wide area, and announced and published on the results announcement website.

(2) Winners will receive local specialties from the "Koriyama Wide Area" as supplementary prizes.

(3) Winning entries will be exhibited at the Koriyama Wide Area booth of the "Tokyo Camera Club Photo Exhibition 2026" (scheduled for September 2026) held at Shibuya Hikarie. At the same exhibition, there will be an opportunity to speak directly with Mr. Yuichi Yokota and Mr. photo_booooy, who serve as special judges for this photo contest.
