A summer vacation with peers from a town 300km away

This is a unique summer event where students can meet elementary and junior high school students from Minamikyushu City, Kagoshima Prefecture, transcending school and extracurricular boundaries.

Students from Minamikyushu and Kitakyushu will form a team and spend three days together. They will notice differences in accents and share stories about their hometowns. Meeting friends from regions they wouldn't normally interact with will be a fresh and stimulating experience.

A thrilling three days sharing 'Wow!' moments

Cutting-edge technology at SpaceLABO and the TOTO Museum, or the beautiful night view from Mt. Sarakura.

Even familiar local facilities transform into fresh, enjoyable experiences when visited with friends from Minamikyushu. Conversations will flow naturally as they say, 'Have you seen this before?' or 'In my town...', sharing surprises and teaching each other.

Packed with fun programs, from recreation to Mojiko Yaki Curry

Starting with recreation on the first day, facility tours on the second day, and a visit to the Kanmon Straits Museum followed by a lunch of Mojiko's famous Yaki Curry on the last day, the curriculum is designed for children to get along easily.

By the final day, they will have bonded so well that they can promise to 'See you again next year!'—a special three-day summer vacation.
