World's Largest 100m "Jumbo Koinobori" to Fly Over Kazo! The 17th Kazo Citizen Peace Festival to be Held

In Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture, the "Kazo Citizen Peace Festival" will be held again this year on May 3rd (Sun., National Holiday).

This event is held annually with the hope for a safe and secure peaceful life for citizens and a sense of gratitude for its preciousness.

The main highlight of the event is the 100-meter-long "Jumbo Koinobori," which swims gracefully over the Tone River. The sight of this massive carp streamer dancing in the vast sky is an overwhelming spectacle for all viewers.

In addition, the venue will offer a variety of content that allows visitors to learn and think about peace while having fun, such as peace ceremonies, food stalls, a flea market, and even a pseudo-experience of atomic bomb damage through VR.

Attractions by the Kazo Junior Chamber (JC) and a Classic Car Fest will also be held simultaneously.

Why not share the gratitude of peace in the open space of the riverbed?
