[Kazo City] 'How do you fly it in the sky?' Before the Jumbo Koinobori swims! Introducing 'Behind the Sky', capturing the full story

When you think of Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture, the famous 'Jumbo Koinobori 🎏' (giant carp streamer) comes to mind.

Its massive size boasts a total length of 100 meters, a weight of 330 kg, and eyes with a diameter of 10 meters!

It swims in the vast sky over Kazo every year on May 3rd during the 'Kazo Citizen Peace Festival'.

To hoist this Jumbo Koinobori high into the sky, large cranes are absolutely essential!

It takes two whole days to assemble the large cranes.

Therefore, ahead of the upcoming Kazo Citizen Peace Festival, we are introducing scenes of the assembly work for the large hoisting cranes.

Please enjoy a look at 'Behind the Sky', an area usually hidden from the public eye that can truly be called a 'sanctuary of craftsmen'!

Behind that sight is the professional skill of 'crane assembly' and extraordinary preparation.
