川崎市では、平成22年度から市民・事業者の皆様とともに取り組んできた植樹活動である「市民150万本植樹運動」において、令和8年3月末時点の植樹本数が152万本となり、目標としていた150万本を達成しました。
この取組は、平成22年度に神奈川県で開催された全国植樹祭において、生田緑地（多摩区）をサテライト会場として植樹祭を実施したことを契機に、「市民100万本植樹運動」としてスタートしました。そ

この取組は、平成22年度に神奈川県で開催された全国植樹祭において、生田緑地（多摩区）をサテライト会場として植樹祭を実施したことを契機に、「市民100万本植樹運動」としてスタートしました。その後、多くの市民や事業者の皆様の御協力により、令和元年12月に100万本の目標を達成し、さらに目標を150万本へと引き上げて取組を継続してきました。
この度の150万本達成後も、植樹本数の把握を継続するとともに、イベント等での苗木配布や公園整備に合わせた記念植樹などを通じて、緑豊かなまちづくりを推進してまいります。
なお、150万本達成を記念し、都市緑化月間である令和8年10月に「150万本植樹達成記念植樹祭」を開催する予定です。詳細については、決まり次第お知らせします。
