Kawasaki City is holding its first-ever exhibition at the main building of Kawasaki City Hall from April 25 to May 24, a period that includes Greenery Day (May 4) and International Day for Biological Diversity (May 22), to help people learn about the familiar greenery and biodiversity in Kawasaki.

In addition to introducing the contents of the "Kawasaki City Future Vision for Greenery" (concept word: KAWASAKI NATURE LOOP ~Connecting with greenery. Connecting everyone.~, see PDF data below for details) formulated in March this year, the exhibition uses posters and videos to showcase biodiversity, green connections, and human connections fostered at the National Urban Greenery Kawasaki Fair held in Reiwa 6 (2024), in collaboration with related facilities such as zoos and aquariums within the city.

As a related event, a leaf vein specimen making workshop will also be held on May 4.

Through this exhibition and events, we aim to inform citizens and many people involved with the city about the necessity of Nature Positive (nature restoration) and the value of greenery, deepen their understanding of the "Future Vision for Greenery," foster awareness, and expand participation in these initiatives.
