## Kameoka City Receives 6 Million Yen in Corporate Hometown Tax Donations

Kameoka City, Kyoto (Mayor: Takahiro Katsuragawa), has received a total of 6 million yen in donations through the corporate hometown tax system (Regional Revitalization Tax System) from two companies: Nihon Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. (HQ: Osaka) and WUUZY, Inc. (HQ: Tokyo), as part of its initiative to realize an 'environmentally advanced city' and 'children-first' community.

The funds will be used for the hosting costs of the '43rd National Urban Greenery Fair in Kyoto Tamba' (nickname: Kyoto Tamba Midori no Sato Matsuri), scheduled to begin in September 2026, and for renovation projects at the event venue, Kameoka Sports Park (including the construction of large multi-functional playground equipment).

Kameoka City actively promotes collaboration with the private sector to ensure the rich natural environment is passed on to the next generation and to create an environment where children can thrive.
