Sakuragi-cho Community Hall (nickname: Terrasola, located at Itabashi-ku Sakuragi-cho 19) has been completed as a brand-new community hall where people of all generations can naturally gather, interact, and easily participate in community activities. This community hall will be utilized under the nickname "Terrasola," which embodies the desire for community-rooted activities and diversity to spread and for residents to connect in this place. The name "Terrasola" represents "Terrace + Plaza (Sky), Terra (Earth) + Unity of Sky."
In addition to its use as a general community hall, "Terrasola" is also planned to be utilized as a venue to create opportunities for Itabashi Ward's community-based gathering space initiative, "Gathering Places of Connection," moving forward.
To commemorate the completion of "Terrasola," an event titled "Terrasola's Manual" was held on March 27, Reiwa 8 (2026), where the design firm for Sakuragi-cho Community Hall provided explanations of its functions and operational examples.
The event featured a facility tour of "Terrasola," along with food truck sales on the premises, a craft corner, and performances by citizen groups, marking its grand opening.
Terrasola is scheduled to open on Wednesday, April 1, Reiwa 8 (2026).
