Second Recruitment for Dance & Vocal Unit Members Now Open!

Iruma City (Mayor: Riichiro Sugishima), to commemorate the 60th anniversary of its municipal organization this November, is advancing the "Ryokusui Project." This project is an activity where students of Seibu Junior High School, the city's first integrated school, will spread and connect their thoughts put into the new school song "In the Ryokusui" through their own efforts. In February of this year, we recruited members for the "Dance & Vocal Unit," which is the core of this project, and received a great response. Now, in response to enthusiastic requests from citizens, we will begin the "Second Recruitment (a few members)" on Tuesday, March 31st. For the second recruitment, in addition to citizens, the dance department is now open to "those with a connection to Iruma City (family members working or studying in the city are also OK)," and the vocal department is open to "those who like Iruma City and want to support it," allowing anyone inside or outside the city to apply. We hope that those who were unable to apply during the first recruitment will take this opportunity to participate and help liven up the anniversary year together. ■ Gorgeous Production Team Leading the Project The project will be produced by Katsuhiko Sugiyama, a composer who has created numerous hit songs. The dance choreography and instruction will be strongly supported by Reo Hazuki, a professional dancer. The formed unit will color the 60th anniversary of the municipal organization brightly through the production of a music video and performances at various events.
