Recruitment for Hino Shinsengumi Festival Tai-shi Parade

We are recruiting elementary and junior high school students in the city to participate in the 'Tai-shi Parade,' one of the main events of the 29th Hino Shinsengumi Festival, and help liven up the festival. Festival Dates: Reiwa 8 (2026) May 9th (Saturday), May 10th (Sunday) Main Events: May 9th: 'Tai-shi Contest' at Nanao Public Hall; May 10th: Events around Koshu Kaido and Hino-shuku, and 'Tai-shi Parade' Recruitment of participants for Tai-shi Parade (Kasuga Unit) We are recruiting elementary school students in the city to wear historical costumes of the Kasuga Unit and walk in the Tai-shi Parade. Target: All new 5th and 6th graders in elementary schools within the city (those who will be 5th or 6th graders in April Reiwa 8). Date/Time: May 10th (Sunday) 2:30 PM Location: Around Koshu Kaido, Hino-shuku *Meeting point is Shimin-no-Mori Fureai Hall. Recruitment of participants for Tai-shi Parade (Ichimura Tetsunosuke role, Koyo Chinbutai) We are recruiting junior high school students in the city to play the role of Ichimura Tetsunosuke, Hijikata Toshizo's page, and members of the Koyo Chinbutai (Koyo Pacification Unit), which was reorganized when the Shinsengumi was ordered to pacify Koshu.
