Handa City, Aichi Prefecture: Connecting the City by Bicycle. Downtown Rental Bicycle 'Looper' Launched

To improve the convenience and circulation of visitors to the central urban area, Cococolin (Handa City Creation, Collaboration, and Practice Center) has started operating a downtown rental bicycle service.

It can be used as a convenient means of transportation for tourists, business users, and daily commutes.

Downtown Rental Bicycle "Looper" Overview

Available hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM *Excluding Tuesdays (Cococolin's closed day)

Rental location: Cococolin (Handa City Creation, Collaboration, and Practice Center) [120-4 Minamisuehirocho, Handa City]

Number of bicycles available: Total 4 units (2 regular bicycles, 2 electric assist bicycles)

Eligibility: Persons aged 10 and over, and 145 cm or taller

Usage fees

・Looper (regular bicycle): Within 3 hours 500 yen, Over 3 hours (within the same day) 800 yen

・e-Looper (electric assist bicycle): Within 3 hours 800 yen, Over 3 hours (within the same day) 1,200 yen

*Helmets are lent free of charge.

How to use

① From the reservation system (https://cococorin.github.io/rental-bicycle/looper_booking.html) Check availability and make a reservation (on-site reception also possible)

② Complete reception at Cococolin (Handa City Creation, Collaboration, and Practice Center) and receive the key and bicycle

③ After use, return the key and bicycle to Cococolin
