Hamamatsu City has begun accepting entries for the FY2026 "Regional Issue Solving" component of the Hamamatsu ORI-Project, an initiative to create use cases for a data integration platform (*1) through public-private partnerships.

*1 Data Integration Platform: A foundation centered on data translation and authenticated delivery, acting as a "hub" for diverse data distributed across the region, promoting "data circulation and linkage."

1. Overview of the FY2026 Hamamatsu ORI-Project Three initiatives will be implemented in parallel: (1) Regional Issue Solving Type (Recruitment started) Recruiting pilot projects that utilize data to solve regional issues in Hamamatsu City and providing support for business verification within the city for promising proposals. (2) Platform Member Proposal Type (Scheduled to start recruiting around August 2026) Recruiting businesses capable of addressing data utilization themes proposed by members of the Hamamatsu City Digital Smart City Public-Private Partnership Platform and supporting business verification in collaboration with theme proposers. (3) Data Integration Platform Utilization Event (Scheduled to start recruiting around September 2026) Hosting events in Hamamatsu City where non-engineers can interact with platform data and explore its utilization.

2. Recruitment Outline for "Regional Issue Solving Type" (1) Eligibility: Corporations, sole proprietors, or voluntary groups aiming to create new services using the Hamamatsu City Data Integration Platform. (2) Recruitment Scope: Pilot projects aiming to implement services within Hamamatsu City using the platform, with verification experiments to be conducted by March 15, 2027. (3) Support Provided: Assistance for platform utilization and necessary support for pilot experiments (e.g., covering project expenses up to 200,000 yen, stakeholder coordination, PR support, and leveraging sponsor assets). (4) Application Method: Confirm application guidelines on the dedicated website and apply online. (5) Application Period: June 8, 2026 (Mon) – July 10, 2026 (Fri) at 17:00. (6) Briefing Session: Held via Zoom on June 16, 2026 (Tue) from 14:00 to 15:00. This session will also cover the FY2026 Hamamatsu City Data Integration Platform Service Implementation Support Grant.
