The Yasushi Inoue Memorial Project Executive Committee (NPO Asahikawa Literature Materials Association, Hokkaido Shimbun Asahikawa Branch, and Asahikawa City Board of Education) presents the Yasushi Inoue Memorial Cultural Award to honor individuals who have made continuous contributions to their region and society through outstanding cultural activities, in memory of the achievements and wishes of the Asahikawa-linked author, Yasushi Inoue.
For this 9th edition, historian Tatsushi Fujihara has been selected as the recipient of the Yasushi Inoue Memorial Cultural Award.
