The deliciousness of Adachi Ward's popular school lunch 'Ebi Cream Rice' is now in an onigiri.

Adachi Ward's school lunches are extremely popular among children, with 97% of 6th graders and 95% of 8th graders answering that 'school lunch is delicious' (according to a survey). The collaboration menu development with Seven-Eleven Japan Co., Ltd., which empathized with Adachi Ward's commitment to food—such as local production for local consumption and making dashi from scratch every morning in all schools—began in June 2022 and will enter its fifth year this year. 'Ebi Cream Rice', which has been sold since the first year of the collaboration menu and has been a hit every year, will appear as an onigiri this year. This onigiri recreates 'Ebi Cream Rice', a popular school lunch menu in Adachi Ward. It features butter rice with carrots topped with shrimp and cream sauce, giving it a rich flavor that is also delicious when warmed.

Three menu items to get vegetables 'easily' and 'enjoyably' also appear in time for Shokuiku Month

In addition to 'Ebi Cream Rice Onigiri', other collaboration menus from Seven-Eleven × Adachi Ward will appear. To coincide with Shokuiku Month in June, three items that fit Adachi Ward's recommended 'Raku-Vegi' (easy and fun vegetable eating for health improvement) will be released for a limited time: '6-Item Komatsuna Tuna Salad', 'Spicy Chicken and Garlic Cabbage Appetizer', and 'Cold Tantanmen with Half Day's Vegetables'.

A satisfying bowl with a flavorful soup made from pork bones, chicken bones, cabbage, and ginger, featuring chewy and smooth Chinese triple-layer noodles, and topped with cabbage, bean sprouts, pork, wood ear mushrooms, carrots, and komatsuna.

During the sales period from June 16 to 29, Seven-Eleven will hold a 'Delicious Adachi Ward Fair'. Part of the sales of the above four items in Adachi Ward will be donated to Adachi Ward's food education projects.
