miramiru Inc. and TAIIN Inc. launched a new service on April 13, 2026, designed for artists to establish and operate personal art galleries and museums within the metaverse. This initiative, named 'Custom Art Gallery,' utilizes the 'Spatial' metaverse platform. The service targets creators of tangible and authentic artworks, such as painters, photographers, textile artists, and graphic designers, in response to the increasing prevalence of AI-generated images. It offers a permanent virtual exhibition space, unlike temporary physical galleries, allowing artists to preserve their career milestones as enduring assets. Key features include global accessibility via PC, smartphone, and VR through a single URL, customizable gallery environments, and an integrated direct purchasing system that eliminates intermediaries between artists and collectors. The Basic Plan is priced at 98,000 JPY (tax included) for a gallery accommodating up to 20 works, with no recurring monthly fees. A fully customized 'Original Plan' is also available upon consultation for bespoke spatial, lighting, sound, and navigation designs.
