Launch of Electronic Circular Board Service: New Feature for Regional Information App 'Lorcle'

Chunichi Shimbun Co., Ltd. launched 'Lorcle Circular Board' on the 27th, a new feature for its regional information app 'Lorcle' that allows for information sharing within local communities such as neighborhood associations and residents' associations. Applications are now being accepted from neighborhood associations, residents' associations, and various other organizations and companies.

Lorcle Circular Board provides a dedicated page for each community, such as a neighborhood association, where information previously circulated via paper can be uploaded by authorized personnel for members to view.

The service includes features for confirming safety during disasters and checking attendance for events. Use of the service is free for neighborhood associations and other organizations.

Advance applications began at the end of February, and many neighborhood associations across the country have already applied, with operations having already commenced in some areas. Thirty organizations that apply and begin using the service by the end of May will be selected by lottery to receive disaster prevention goods.
