[Decarbonization Support] Chuggin Energy Begins Renewable Energy Supply to Mirai Kobo's New Head Office Factory via On-site Solar PPA

Chuggin Energy Co., Ltd. (Okayama City, Representative Director Shinichi Matsuoka) announces that it has installed solar power generation equipment based on a solar PPA service contract with Mirai Kobo Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President Hiroyuki Katagiri) and has begun supplying renewable energy.

* PPA: Power Purchase Agreement. A scheme where the PPA provider installs, operates, and maintains the solar power system at no cost, and the consumer purchases and uses the generated electricity.

Mirai Kobo Co., Ltd. operates two main businesses: the manufacture and sale of pilgrimage goods for the 88 temples of Shikoku and other sacred sites nationwide, and marking uniforms, T-shirts, etc., for major sporting goods manufacturers. In this project, the company promotes the introduction of renewable energy through an on-site PPA utilizing the roof of its new head office factory completed in May 2025, aiming to decarbonize its electricity usage and reduce the local environmental burden.
